I had exactly three over ripe bananas in the house. I just made it and it was delicious. I am eating this bread right now. Next time I will add some walnuts or almonds to make it bit crunchy but otherwise even without anything else, this bread is excellent, delicious and easy to make. I will make it again and again.

Delicious! I made this last night and there is hardly any left. The only change I made was to use about 4 or 5 tbsp of dark chocolate (regular sized chips. That's what I had on hand. Yummy! Hubby has decided he'd rather pass on the powdered sugar dusting and go with a dollop of whipped cream instead. A definite winner in our house.

I made it right away because I love Banana bread and want to know different ways of making it. I thought the juice of an orange was interesting. Before putting the batter into the pan I felt it was too stiff so I added a couple of splashes of milk. I thought it came out well but I should have added my peacans and think it needed more bananas then three. I also think it may have needed more butter, but overall it was good with tea & coffee. I would give it 4 stars but more main ingredients to taste.

DELICIOUS! So moist and flavorful! I didn't have an orange on hand, so I used two tablespoons of orange juice, which worked great. I love your recipes Melissa, thank you for sharing and keep them coming!

Delicious! Just made a double batch today and added raisons to one loaf. Had to bake them about 10min longer than called for. The bread came out great, very tasty and even better with a bit of butter. My two year old also approved- highly:

I recently caught the episode where Melissa made this bread, and I happened to have some fresh ruby navel oranges and overripe bananas on hand. I used mini-chocolate chips to better infuse the batter with chocolate, and I topped it with a simple streudel so help the top get a little crunchy. It was moist and flavourful and had a great crumb, thanks to the orange juice!

Delicious and easy! Because I am such a chocolate fan, I will be adding more chocolate chips to the batter next time. I might also try adding some Craisins, too.

Delightful! I love dark chocolate, so I chopped some dark chocolate chunks and it gave the bread just a little extra something something that make it over the top! Very moist and flavorful.
