OMG delish!! Hubbs is a diabetic so I substituted Splenda- this cake did not even last 36 hours in our house! Sent mom a generous slice and her feedback was she wanted an entire one to herself. This was quick delicious and ohhh so easy!

Cake was very good. I couldn't get the center to get done. I had to cook for 25 min and the center collapsed a little. Still tasted very good. Would probably add more zest the next time. Texture was great.Whipped cream would really be good on this. Someone else suggested preserves and whipped cream and that sounds great. Will make this again soon

We ate the cake with a dollop of cherry preserves on the side. Really incredible!
My host mother in Germany made this cake! She divided the layer and put blackberry jam between the layers. Dusted it with powdered sugar and served a dollop of whipped cream on the side. I

This cake was great. Subtle flavor. Very easy and made with things I usually have on hand anyhow. I used a Clementine orange, and I was a little worried that it wasn't enough orange, but it was very good.

Loved this recipe. I added approx 1 tsp of fresh finely minced rosemary to the batter along w/orange zest & instead of confectioners sugar, I drizzled 3 tbl orange marmelade mixed w/another tsp of minced rosemary over the warm cake. Delicious.

Delicious and so easy that my 3 year old twins had a blast helping me mix and measure. Fully cooked in my oven after 20 mins. I used the zest of an entire orange and it was just perfect. Does not keep too long, so that is the perfect excuse to eat it all up within a day!

Made this after a stressful day at work. Based on other reviews, checked it after 20 minutes. Mine was perfect after 22 minutes. Not too sweet, which is the way I prefer my cake. Has a nice crumb. With a sprinkling of powdered sugar, and a small dollop of whipped cream, it was a perfect treat. Next time, to boost the orange flavor, I might use the zest of 2 oranges. Otherwise, great as is.
