    Just made this tonight and loved it! I did make some changes. 1. I used some whole wheat pastry flour in place of all white flour. 2. I put a smig of orange extract in along w/ the vanillia just because I love the flavor and had it on hand. 3. Nixed the powdered surgar. I liked it w/out. Great texture. Great for any time of day. Looking forward to a piece w/tea or coffee tomorrow.

    Very good, but wouldn't call it outstanding. Agree with others that 25 min is too long for oven time, also not quite enough orange flavor. I had actually used an extra tablespoon full of fresh orange juice, but next time I'll add an extra dash of orange extract.

    This cake was super easy and inexpensive to make. It also had great flavor. My only tiny complaint is the texture - it was sort of like a cornbread texture. I'm thinking the bake time was too long. I would definitely make again, but try 5 minutes less on the bake time.

    I was pleasantly surprised at how good this cake tasted! I would compare it to a light pound cake, without all the fat.

    love love love this and so did my husband...I didnt have orange so I used lemon omgosh it was so yummy. I will be trying it with orange once I go to the store. Thanks =

    Once again, Melissa delivers! I love this woman and don't know what kind of junk I'd be cooking without her. This cake was nothing short of awesome.

    This cake is so yummy. I only had half an orange so I subbed in some lemon zest, and it was still good. Thanks for the easy cake recipe, keep em' comin.

    We saw this cake just a couple of hours ago and made it right after. Absolutely wonderful flavor! We did make an adjustment though, were out of eggs so we used mayo.

    This cake is delicious! I watched Melissa make it and then went right into the kitchen to bake it! It was such an easy recipe and yet it is so fabulous. The flavor and texture are wonderful. My twelve-year-old daughter loved it too! NOTE: I baked it for 25 minutes but next time I'll bake it for a little less time. Thank you for this great recipe!
