I made these twice since we had enough philly steak mixture for one and two of us ate 1/2 and here's what I learned from the first time. They took forever the first time and still didn't have a great texture or crispness and yes, they did stick to the foil on the baking sheet. I cut the fries thinner and I sprayed the foil with cooking spray. They were delish the second time and even the ones that were still a little soft were tasty.

These were amazing! We loved them! The only thing I added was to spray the aluminum foil on the pan with cooking spray. Will absolutely make these again! Yum!

Flavor was good a little sweet but still good. I did have to leave them in a little longer. I would cut down on the oil next time and spray the pan.

YUM! I did this recipe just a bit different. Instead of paprika, i used cayenne pepper, it was just the kick it needed, and i did use the sugar as well. Perfect Balance, this will be my new Fry recipe :

I liked Melissa's potatoes, but I do them just a little differently. I cut my potatoes like she does, and then I ice them in a bowl of cold water with ice for about 30 minutes. Dry them with some paper towel, and then shake them in a re-sealable plastic bag with olive oil, Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. I bake mine at 425 degrees for about 35 minutes and then turn them down to 400 for about 10 minutes more. Nice and crispy!!

They were delicious. I followed the recipe to the T and they turned out great, a little crispy and very flavorful, my husband and I both enjoyed them. I can"t wait to try them with different spices, maybe a little chili powder. Thank you Melissa!

I tried this recipe as a snack for the game since we are both dieting and we LOVED it! I did not use sugar as we are not allowed with the diet but we ate every crispy fry. Thank you!

Use parchment paper on your baking sheet and they won't stick and will come off perfect.

These fries were great. Not sure what the problem is with the other reviewers. But I sprayed the pan with Pam, and though she had few spices in the recipe which was good as it is, but we just added a few more the next time we made the fries and they came out perfect both times!
