My husband and I do not eat meat and I am forever looking for new recipes that involve fish or shrimp. When I saw this episode I had to try it. This dish was everything I expected. However I had to deduct one star because the fish didn't stand up, by the time I was done there was no sign of the fish, the dish had the flavor but the 2" pieces were no place in sight. Overall a great dish paired with garlic bread.

Super easy, super fast. I didn't use flounder but a friend had given us some fresh "red" fish.Followed rest of recipe except for chili flakes - used some smokey paprika. I might put a little sweet red pepper in next time to add a little color. We loved it!

This was great! We used greenling for the fish. Kids & adults enjoyed it. I subbed cayenne powder for the chili flakes. It was very easy.

A+. This dish is FANTASTIC ... and easy ! The only thing I did differently was decrease the amount of pepper flakes by 1/2 because my mother does not like spicy like we do. Next time she's not invited for dinner. LOL.

This was delicious! I couldnt stop eating. I was going to make a simple pasta with red sauce for dinner, I saw this episode, decided I would try it since I had most of the ingredients. The changes I made were flounder to Whiting fish, no shrimp (didnt have any, and I used the whole two cans of diced tomatoes (2 - 15 oz cans juice and all, linguine to spaghetti (didnt have liguine either With all the changes, It was absolutely delicious! Loved the briny from the capers, that just makes it IMO. Be careful of the teaspoon of chili flakes. We loved it that spicy and will do it again, It might be too much for little ones. You can always add more later.
To me, this is an any season recipe. It was good in the autumn, and It would be good in the summer, and so on.
I served this with the salad and dressing from this episode. so creamy!
Make this dish, you'll be glad you did.
