Excellent and easy way to make diced potatoes. We used chicken broth instead of water and ours were actually done before the oven step but that may have been because of the type of potato we used. This is now our go-to recipe for diced potatoes.

Very good! I also added some onion and green pepper, which I think was a good idea. Also, the finished product was a bit greasy. I would suggest putting them on some paper towels first before transferring to a serving dish.

I agree with whomever suggested you add onions to the steaming step. I also added red and green bell peppers and put them all in the oven. So flavorful I was eating them straight out of the fridge, cold the next day! I'm going to substitute the butter for a heart-healthier spread next time since they're already so flavorful.

Worked like a charm! I got splattered quite a bit, so I put on my Orka mitt halfway through to protect my arm and hand from the spitting oil. We made these with grilled filet mignon and Ina Garten's basil parm mayo and crispy roasted kale - delicious!

These were delicious! Never enough for my family of teenagers. I think that's the definition of a good recipe.

Delicious. I have a small family, so there were obviously left overs for breakfast. They only got tastier overnight.

Amazing! The potatoes came out SO good! I had to make two batches to feed my family, and so the potatoes could be in a single layer in my small oven pan. I also seasoned them with extra pepper and some garlic salt because I like potatoes with lots of seasoning. They turned out great! They are well worth the effort! I used a non stick pan and had no troubles with them sticking like I usually do when I try to make fries. This one is a keeper!

Reviewed the reviews. If you rated this less than a 5........you are not a cook that wishes for improvement. Takes some obvious observation to make sure the potatoes don't stick........but OMG this is the bomb. Added some caraway seed and time on the Traeger to the recipe as my contribution. This is the only way I will ever do fried potatoes ever again.
