I saw the show this morning on these and am planning on making them for my coworkers. Love Melissa d'Arabian. She's a breath of fresh air. HOPE SHE HAS A LONG STAY ON FOOD NETWORK !!! SUCH A PLEASURE TO WATCH !! I always add orange zest to my pastry dough. and egg wash will make them shiny and i'm going to add a little sugar to the dough also. Infinite possibilities !!!

I love these and so does my family! I add 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon to the dough, and they are fantastic..... And still not too sweet. The vanilla (I use vanilla paste and hint of cinnamon go sooooo well with the chocolate.

One of the greatest things about them are that they are not super sweet. Just a hint of sweetness. Everyone loved them!

These are really delicious! I will definitely make them again. They need some sweetness added to the dough...about 1/4 cup of powdered sugar is great! They would be wonderful to serve at a tea or coffee too.

These are fantastic! I made them for friends and they were a huge hit. I did as others suggested and added a little over 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar to the dough to sweeten it slightly. My hand mixer wasn't powerful enough to mix the dough without getting it completely stuck on the blades, so I switched to the stand mixer to finish the dough. I probably overmixed and it still came out fabulous. The dough was flaky and delicate. The nutella is almost mousse-like when the pochettes are still slightly warm. I also made some with strawberry preserves, and they were also delicious. Pay attention to the thickness of the dough that you roll out - the proper thickness makes it easy to fold over.

I've only made this twice, but each time people talk about them non-stop.I added strawberry, orange, nutella, rasberry to different ones all are great! An i think someone wanted to know if they travel well; a batch of mine were still warm when i put them in a bowel an clear plastic over them, well they were okay still just the heat from them made kinda doughy again. So i would make sure they are cooled down before putting them in a closed package.

Terrific-very versatile! I filed some with various items-both sweet and savor. Will tryout cornmeal in lieu of flour next time.As Melissa says 'infinite' possibilities!
