YUM! These were incredible! So tasty and easy. I did put too much jam in the first half, and they opened, then less in the second half and they came out fine. Can't wait to try the Nutella version. I think these would also be great with a bit of brie and craisins, or brie and prosciutto. This really is an awesome neutral dough that you can do anything with!

These were easy and just delicious. I made a few with mincemeat and the sweetness of the powdered sugar and the flaky cookies offset the tartness of the mincemenat wonderfully. These are a new addition to our usual cookie bake-off we have every year at Christmas and they're keepers!

Killer, the quickest to disappear. Mine did split open like the other users below so I am going to use lass jam as well.

These cookies were delicious!! Perfect for me, flaky and not too sweet. But my husband thought the dough wasn't sweet enough so the next time i might add a bit of sugar to the dough. Otherwise i will end up eating the whole thing myself like the last time, lol.

These were very good. I used the amount called for jam but mine did leak. I think next time I will use less jam and add a little sugar to the dough. The pastry is flaky and really good.

Fabulous dough. Stays together when baked. Don't use too much filling so they don't leak. The taste is awesome. I filled them with an assortment of different preserves including a lemon preserve. Delish! I think I just may try filling with some savory fillings since the dough is not sweet. Brie or another great cheese might just do the trick.Thanks. Melissa!

This is by far the best cookie filled recipe I've made so far - the dough is light and flaky and buttery - I filled it with apricot, strawberry, and peach preserves - soooooo good - Thank you Melissa for a great recipe I will make a tradition of it.

Great, pretty cookie. I used an egg wash on the top (1 egg yolk with 1 tsp water and then lightly sprinkled turbinado sugar over since the dough itself has no sugar in it. I used raspberry jam in all and they were delicious. They were a little time consuming but worth it for the holidays or a special occasion.
