I had my grandchildren help me make this recipe and we had so much fun. I didn't think they would like it. They gobbled it down. Thanks Melissa keep these great recipes coming.

This recipe tastes a lot like a salsa I buy now and then at a specialty foods store that's VERY expensive. Now I can make my own, and it's pretty cheap! I made this to serve over some grilled salmon, and it was excellent. Hubby taste-tested it with tortilla chips and loved it that way too. It would be even better with fresh pineapple, but canned was good (and inexpensive. I do buy fresh pineapple once in a while for a treat, and this would be an excellent way to use some of it. It was so good over the grilled fish. Will definitely make this again!
