Excellent dish! Be sure to prepare it as indicated, and you will not be disappointed. This turned out so well that I also made it for Christmas day festivities.

It was excellent. Just be careful not to overcook the pork it will be a little dry if you pass the suggested cooking time. The sauce was even better two days after. I sprinkled some parmesan cheese on top and it was to die for!

This is the tastiest recipe ever. I don't even like pork roast but tried this one anyway. The flavor is plentiful, which I find in all of Melissa's recipes. The sauce makes this recipe ... everyone needs to try this one!

I made this last night, and it was wonderful. The pork was extremely moist and tender, and the sauce was extremely flavorful. (I had never used a Dutch Oven before. I did have a problem with the Cheese melting out, as so many reviewers have mentioned. To be honest, I really don't think the Ham and Cheese was nessesary, it didn't detractfrom the recipe, but it also didn't enhance the dish.
I pureed the sauce before adding the Mushrooms, I thought that really helped. Great recipe, I will do it again.

I did not stuff the pork loin with the ham and cheese but I followed the rest of the recipe and it is amazing. The pork is juicy and tender and the sauce is wonderful. It also frees the oven up for rolls or other sides. I will definitely make this again. I will do the ham and cheese step next time once I buy the butcher string to tie it with.

What a wonderful change from the usual oven pork roast. While watching the show, I realized I had all ingredients on hand so making this was a real treat. My husband loved, loved it!! It was really moist, tender and delicious. The sauce. . . Yum. This could be a real 'go to' for a dinner party. Thanks Melissa!!

Made this tonight - delicious! Easy, smelled good on the stove while cooking, so so tender. We used leftover ham from our Christmas spiral ham instead of deli ham. And I ran out of sour cream so we used cream cheese in the sauce instead. Loved it!
