Best Pork Roast I've ever made. Usually if I bake it in the oven, it comes out too dry. This one was easy and the GRAVY is excellent. My husband and I really enjoyed this one!!

THis is excellent. I added some pickles to the stuffing because I love cuban sandwiches and it turned out great. The pickles add just a little zing. To the person who had trouble with the cheese melting, you have to work quickly. Also, make sure the cheese is really cold, it will melt slower that way.

WOW! Such a great recipe. I have never made a pork roast before I was amazed. I actually used the packaged cheese and ham not from the deli, I didnt have the whole cup of wine so i used about 3/4cup, all turned out very well. I will absolutly make this again! Im already recomending it to friends and family and I just sat the dish on my table.

I made this the other night and it is excellent!! I would like to know if you were to do in the oven, at what temp. and for how long?
    Any suggestions?

We loved the recipe. Since one of my flavor combinations is cranverry orange, I added some orange zest & a little orange mermalade. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Making extra sauce is a definate plus. Thanks Melissa.
This is not the only recipe I've made that is a real winner. Any plans for a cook book that contains your recipes? Now that would be a real plus. I love your show and wish you were on TV more.

Thanks for the great eating and have a wonderful holiday to your family from mine

Yummy recipe! Browned up beautifully. It was tender but somewhat dry due to my allowing the roast to cook at to high temp. Next time I think I will cook it in the oven instead of on the cook top to better control the temp. As I was slicing the roast my husband suggested I cut it lengthwise revealing all of the ham and cheese inserts in each slice! Also served with gravy made from pureed cooking liquid and vegetables. Roasted sweet potatoes to go with. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

I made this recipe the day I saw her make this on TV. BIG Mistake to make without any other reviews. I normally love Melissa's recipes, but this one fell flat. It was almost impossible to get the meat browned without the cheese melting, and the final product was a very dry pork roast. Thankfully I wasn't preparing this for a specail holiday meal.

This was a wonderful receipe and I will make it again. I can't believe the other person below had rated this a one star to balance out the five star the other person gave yet they never made the dish. Some people just need to get some common sense and not be so stupid.
