One of my room mates is a wonderful cook. We both love Melissa and when she showed us how to do her asparagus recipe, we were thrilled. This is the only way we will serve asparagus. Eating light just gave us a tasty and easy way to do it. We love it and always tell where we got the recipe and what time the show is on!!!!

I have made this recipe several times since I first watched the show. My husband and I love it. We watch for asparagus to go on sale at the grocery store so that we can savor it again.

This is by far my favorite way to cook asparagus. My boyfriend used to always eat canned asparagus and was nervous at first to try this, but he loves it and can't seem to get enough. I buy my asparagus in bulk, so when I make this I end up making 2 1/4 lbs of asparagus and tripling the recipe. I also use lemon concentrate instead of fresh lemon juice - about 1 tbsp per batch - and a little extra dijon. I've made it three times so far and there is never any leftover.
