Awesome recipe. Funny how a little different preparation can make a vegetable taste so different. Thanks.

I tried this recipe and thought the flavor of the brocolli was wonderful. I really enjoy Melissa's show and tips. Keep up the good work.

You just can't compare Melissa's recipe to Ina Garten's Parmesan-Roasted Broccoli. Funny how Melissa's recipe has basically the same name (Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan.
Ina's has a depth of flavor I didn't get from Melissa's recipe. Plus adding the cheese after it's cooked just tastes better than the browned cheese on Melissa's. And it looks prettier too for guests. Ina's tasted fresher.
Also, I don't mind the broccoli stalks, but our daughter wouldn't touch it and she loves Ina's.

I made this using asparagus which I had on hand. It was so good. Even heating it up leftover tonight it was still perfect. Loved it.

We enjoyed it as an alternative to the standard methods of serving broccoli. I also balked at $1/head, but so what? The show is good for someone coming off a reality show and I always appreciate a new way to present a vegetable to my kids-especially with minimal work!
Keep it up Melissa-I'm rooting for you!

I made this with the shrimp scampi and it was fabulous. I had asiago cheese on hand so I used that in lieu of parm. I really enjoy watching Melissa and have tried most of her recipes. We have to realize that we all live in different places and sometimes, somewhere you can actually get broccoli for $1. And if you can't don't write about it on here.. This site is for tips on how to maybe better a recipe not for insults. Keep up the good work Melissa.

I followed the recipe and when the time was up I'd wished I would of cooked it a little longer cause it was done enough for my family but other than that it was good.

This is a great recipe. By roasting the broccoli, I was able to maintain the moisture in the stocks. As long as the broccoli is seasoned well with salt and pepper you can't go wrong. Instead of parm I used gruyere. I will absolutely do again!

I really wasn't sure what I thought of Melissa's show, but I watched the other day and saw the recipe for this broccoli dish, and it looked too good to resist. I tried it tonight, and my roommate and I both LOVED it. The broccoli has such a beautiful taste when roasted, and the preparation couldn't be easier. While I agree that the idea of all that broccoli costing under $1 is ludicrous, I enjoyed the dish too much to complain.
Keep it up!

Broccoli never tasted so good--even my son who hates "green" things loved it!
