WINNER! WINNER! WINNER!!!!! I can't say enough about this broccoli! The only variation I made is that I have a convection oven, and by leaving the broccoli and not flipping it, and only doing the 15 minutes, it roasted beautifully. The florets are a little crispy and browned and caramelize so nicely. My husband and step son ask for this broccoli several times a week. It is out of this world good!!!!!

I was alitttle diappointed in the simplicity of it you might as well just sprinkle parmasan cheese on top of steamed broccoli. not to impressed.

We love this recipe. My boyfriend wasn't voting for Melissa in the final 2 (I was but he said she deserved her own show just for this recipe! We also make it with asparagus, which is just as good. Make sure you carmelize it well.

Have made this several times and keep going back to it! It's simple and a great change from steamed, raw, and anything else you can do to broccoli. A comment was made by another reader from Taos NM that this is just a cop-off from Ina Garten - - lots of recipes have their tweeks and turns from "other" recipes and I'm sure Ina's is good too - - Whatever the case, Melissa, keep up the good work - - Ina doesn't cook for $10 or less and produce the caliber of a meal you do - - I can't afford her style. Your recipes feed my family more then hers - -

I followed this recipe exactly andthis turned out bad. Perhaps I didn't use enough olive oil or the wrong kind of parmesan. The broccoli came out wilted, not carmelized and the cheeze just sloughed off the broccoli and melted.
