I'm not a lover of broccoli, so thought this would do it. Didn't taste any better to me than normal boiling method. Did I do something wrong? However, I love Melissa's approach ---normal simple affordable food! The potatoes are great!

I love broccoli but my kids don't, they eat all sorts of other odd vegetables but will not eat broccoli happily, until tonight! The roasting of the brought out a wonderful nutty flavor and it was so simple. The kids literally fought over who got the last piece.

These were just ok. Not my fav way to cook broccoli. And the stems took MUCH longer to cook, double the time Melissa says. And my stalks weren't as large as the ones she used on the show!! Disappointed, especially since the main course was ready wayyy before the side dish.

I came across this recipe while looking for a side dish to my barbeque ribs, and I have to tell you this did not disappoint. I tweaked it a bit, though, and added a can of quartered artichoke hearts along with some minced garlic and red pepper flakes with the salt, pepper, and olive oil ... and what the heck, a drizzle of lemon juice right before serving. The dish was absolutley delicious, and soooo easy to make. The broccoli was perfect, crisp-tender, and not bitter at all - rather it had a great roasted flavor that went perfectly with my pork ribs. The combination of broccoli and artichoke was also a winner. I'll definitely keep this recipe on hand and make it often. Thanks Melissa!!

I love broccoli every way you can cook it but had never tried roastig it. My husband absolutely loved it and the parmesean cheese just made the dish and this went so well with Malissa's wonderful Lemony Shrimp Scampi. An unbelievable meal and hard to believe I did it all so perfectly! Thank you, thank you, thank you Malissa! I am looking so forward to your new season! Be well.

I just pulled these out of the oven, and it's really a delicious way to do broccoli. Honestly could not be easier! I usually do asparagus this way too and it's tasty, too. I followed one reviewer's suggestion to add the parmesan at the end and let it melt rather than putting it back in the oven -- worked great and no burning. I'm serving this with Paula's oven-fried chicken (delicious and spaghetti squash, and using the leftover roasted broccoli for a pasta salad with sun-dried tomatoes. YUM!
