Made the whole dinnner menu. All the dishes were very good, they went well together, and it was EZ. Also cheap & leftovers reheated well. So 5*; really can't ask for anything more!

This has become one of my families favorite dishes! It's very simple to make, tons of flavor, the gravy is amazing! When you do put it in the oven, you do have to give it an additional 10 to 15 minutes longer then the recipe calls for but that's not a big deal, we just use a meat thermometer to ensure it's cooked thru. This is an amazing dish!

This was the first "fancy" meal that I have ever made for my husband. He is a cook and I am a baker. I do not cook well at all. It turned out so good! I added sauted mushrooms to the top. YUM!!!! Thank you, Melissa for this easy and wonderful recipe! I will definately make this again. (= Caroline

It was great! For four people definitely double the sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful but the best part was soaking up the sauce with the bread. Be sure to double the flour as well if you double the stock and lemon juice. Thanks Melissa!

So I cooked this dish again and followed the exact recipe with the gravy. I paired it with the parmesan bread Melissa also made with the chicken, and it was sooooooooooo delicious! Wow! I don't know what I did wrong before, but somehow this chicken came out ten times more flavorful and the garlic was so sweet and melts in your mouth! Sooooo good. Don't forget to pair it with the parmesan bread and make the gravy, it makes a huge difference!

It was very good and the presentation of the chicken was a 10. As someone else had mentioned though, the chicken itself, wasn't flavored by the garlic but all in all, it was still a wonderful dish that I would make again. I made extra sauce as others commented there wasn't enough. Even though I didn't rate it a 5, it's a 4+ star. Oh I used fresh thyme since it's what I had and it ties into the lemon juice that you add at the end anyways.

Very tasty! Would cook it again. I've never really like dark meat until now. My family loved the crust.

My husband and I loved this...I was not sure about all the garlic but everyone is right so sweet and delish. I did not make a lot of sauce but next time I will make more. I was stealing some from my husbands plate. I have made a few of her dinners and they have been a hit in my house! and bonus very easy to make great for week night.

Delicious!! So glad I found this recipe. The only issue I had was that it took a LOT longer for the chicken thighs to cook through... This was probably some fault on my end, but it took close to 45 minutes for the juices to run clear. Even so, the chicken was juicy and tasty. Definitely recommend getting some good bakery or homemade bread to lather the garlic on!

Excellent. Cook for an 88 year old lady and she and I both raved over this dish. Chicken was moist and the sauce was devine. Will make this over and over again. Want to try with a combination of breast and thighs. This way can please all in household.
