Made this, forgot to make the sauce, was still delicious. Husband loved it.

I am very impressed with this recipe, as I don't usually care for chicken thighs, but these were excellent! I used some of the roasted garlic cloves in mashed red potatoes as a side dish; it was a wonderful complement to the chicken and great with the sauce.

Didn't change a thing to the recipe~ One of my husband's favorite chicken dishes. I would recommend this for everyone. It's also really good to serve to friends/guests.

This was SO good! I did it with 4 very large boneless/skinless chicken breast and still baked it for the same amount of time. I doubled the sauce so it could be poured over penne pasta. The sauce reminded me a bit of a dish I had before called chicken Christopher. I LOVED the garlic, it was so sweet and savory at the same time. A delicious dinner without a lot of prepping or cook time.

Absolutely fab! I'm glad I doubled the recipe (I bought one of those bargain packs of thighs, and I used skinless, boneless. Using butter with the oil gave the sauce such a nice, silky texture. I used the lemon, but next time, I'll use some white wine as a variation. I also made my own Herbes de Provence from dry spices in my spice drawer (why have a separate bottle when you can easily craft it from what you have on hand already?. Oh, I also threw a pound or so of tiny fingerling potatoes in the pan when it went into the oven, and they roasted up in the same time as it took the chicken to finish. A nice French chardonnay was a great accompaniment.

this recipe was delicious and very easy. I didn't have herbes de Provence so I substituted fresh oregano, parsely and basil from my garden...delicious. Trying the recipe again tonight in it's original form, but pleased to know you can change out the herb flavor and it's still delicious! A+ for this chicken dish!!

This chicken is so delicious and so easy!! It's a perfect example of what I love about Melissa's recipes. I made sure that the pieces of chicken were completely dry and that the pan was really hot so I was able to get a beautiful golden brown saute. The garlic was the perfect accent. I will defintely be making this again.
