I made these with 3 year old. We added white choc chips and he loved them. He's already been asking to make them again. Great recipe for quick desserts.

I made these once and discovered I was not a fan of forming cookies. No patience for that but loved the cookies. Just made them again and treated them as a bar cookie plus let the rosemary infuse w/flavor in the warm butter. I mixed the ingredients and pressed it all into an 8x8 inch glass dish. Time is the same or a little longer. Let it cool a bit and then score into 16 pieces w/holes poked in the top. FANTASTIC! Thank you Melissa!

Just made these this afternoon, and wow they are great. I can't have gluten so subbed the flour with gluten free flour - still wonderful. I love the rosemary flavor. Will definitely be in my holiday gift boxes. Thanks!

Very good shortbread.... loved the chocolate chips in it but for my personal taste the rosemary was overwhelming for me. Perhaps I will substitute that next time with lavender instead.

Easy to make and volumes of flavor. Great texture the shortbread almost melts in your mouth. Very similar to her pie crust which is also outstanding.

I love shortbread and my previous attempts to make it have been unsuccesful. I read the reviews before I made these because I was thinking about leaving out the rosemary. Thank goodness I didn't. I trust Melissa...I think she's amazing, so I doubled the recipe in anticipation of a great cookie. WOW am I glad I did. Melissa is an amazing cook/chef. Thank you, Melissa and keep the great food coming!

Wow! Shortbread is one of my favorites but I'd never think to use rosemary. I used salted butter because it was all I had and just cut down on the added salt a bit. I also used regular sized chips as I didn't have the minis and I think they turned out fine. These are so yummy. I love the balance of sweet chocolate chips, the savory rosemary, and the buttery richness. These are the perfect treat and so easy to make. This will definitely be a "go to" recipe. Thanks Melissa!

I brought these cookies into the office and they were gone before I but the plate down...delicious...with a unique flavor and just the right amount of "sweet"

Made the shortbread this morning .Did it step by step in my Kitchen Aid. Mixed the dough (including the mini chips on number one setting and didn't over beat and they turned out great. They are so good and I keep goin into the kitchen for nibbles and before you know it I have had too many nibbles! I tape your show on Sunday so when I get home from church I can watch the tape.I get so many helpful tips from you and the recipes are what my pocketbook can afford.

I tried this with regular chocolate chips the first time since I didn't have the mini ones...definitely better with the minis. Also the rosemary was a little too overpowering for my husband, so I reduced it to just a pinch and it was PERFECT--still infused the whole batch with that flavor of a little something different. I'm making a HUGE batch this week to take on vacation with our family (stores great, and I've already made this recipe 3 time before. Can't get enough!!! So easy and so delicious!!
