Excellent! I am NOT a good cook and although this was one of the more challenging recipes I have tried, I seem to have gotten the hang of it. (Note: NOT a hard recipe...I'm just really bad at cooking if it doesn't involve warming it up in the microwave My husband LOVES it! It does make a lot so I usually only make it when we have people coming over.

This is my new favorite recipe! I have made it a few times now. The first time I substituted red onion for the sweet onion and it was delicious. Another time I accidentally bought eggplant instead of zucchini and tried that and everyone loved it too! I cooked the veggies a little longer because the eggplant took longer to cook. Next time I use the eggplant I'll slice it thinner to cook faster. One question I have is, the recipe calls for one red pepper, cheeks removed. What exactly is meant by "cheeks removed"?

I have made this dish for over a year now! My family and guests love it. We like Melissa's original sausage the best, although we've tried it with roasted chicken breasts, turkey ring sausage, shrimp. The white wine sauce is wonderful. Thanks, Melissa! Today is game day chili and kettle corn from last week's episode. Love your show!

Wouldn't change a thing! This was great and very easy! At first, I didn't think there would be enough sauce but the veggies added so much flavor.

Roasting the vegetables really brings out their flavor, don't skip that step. The recipe was fresh, light and with tons of nutricional value.

Delish! I made this over the holidays for my son & his family in Indiana and it was a hit. Then I passed the recipie on to my neighbor, and we made it togather for our New Years Eve dinner in North Carolina. Another hit! Changing up the veggies doesn't seem to hinder flavor at all. The only thing slightly negative I could say would be that this dinner exceeded my $10.00 vision of Melissa's meals both times I made it. But it's a keeper.

I loved the format of this show and Melissa -- and agree with other comments to take of the $10 cap, but keep the concept of affordable feasts.

I substituted Sweet Potato for the Zucchini because I had that on hand. While the the white wine reduced with the sausages, and the veggies were roasting my teenage boys kept asking what was for dinner because it smelled so good! They talked about this dish for days afterward! Definitely will make this again!

When Food Network selected Melissa, I thought they got it wrong. I wondered what this woman could teach me, a pretty good home cook for 35 years. But now I'm happy to admit that I was wrong. I find that I'm repeatedly copying Melissa's recipes, and every single one has been delicious. This is yet another perfect one!
