I made the carrot soup from this episode and ended up with an orange with no zest on it. With all the other ingredients for this recipe at home, I figured this would be a nice treat. Holy cow, was it great. Followed it to a "t" except I left out the the orange zest in the topping. Wasn't sure about the topping, but it was mild and there was only a tablespoon of it. My family would have loved a cup each! A keeper of a recipe!

I had all the ingredients in my kitchen, which is pretty unusual. I made it for the kids and they loved it. It's not SUPER healthy; all the ingredients add up to almost 200 calories even with light sour cream. However, it is yummy and delicious!

This is absolutely delicious!! I substituted the sour cream for yogurt since that's what I had on hand. It turned out great! It's super quick and easy too! Thanks Melissa!

So good!!! I substituted the tangy cream with some vanilla yogurt, worked well. It only took a few minutes. I will make this again. Thanks,

I am so glad Melissa did this dish. Not only is she an excellent cook but her dishes are not only for the working or stay at home mom. They are excellent for all of us retirees. When you can find recipes for 4 for dinner or rather an entire dinner for 4 for only $10.00, then we can stay within our small budgets. We can make the dinner menu and freeze or just refrigerate the unused portions for another day. Thanks FN. I would love her recipe for ratatouille, too. Her tips are fantastic and I want to see more!!!

While I realize I am doing the very thing I am about to comment on, I am hoping my rating will help offset some of the other OT comments. So here goes: Dear Lois and Mev, As it seems you have overlooked the intended use of this area, please allow me assist you: this is for rating the RECIPE. And in the best case scenario, with the reviewer having actually made the dish. Your personal diatribes about the host really don't fit the parameters. Do you honestly believe the powers that be at FN are dashing over here to read your personal attacks of the host? Really?? At any rate, good luck with that as I believe you are well outnumbered by those of us who thoroughly enjoy watching AND listening to Melissa. And as long as you are watching the show, well that just helps the ratings. Thanks so much for that.
