I have tried making this twice now, and both times it has been terrible. Very disappointing, because it looked so good and easy when she made it on the show.

It was good...don't think I drained the chicken well enough, so will plan to let it marinate longer next time and drain better...but overall good...worth fixing...

I think this is a good recipe with good flavor. It really stretches some chicken over my family of 6 by the time I make some rice and throw in some brocolli. I am not a fan of frying -- it's dangerous and it makes a mess -- and this is so much healthier.

This dish was absolutely delicious! The chicken was packed with flavor and extremely moist. The added butter as the last step made a huge difference. Next time I'll add more butter to the chicken, because I LOVE butter. A definite keeper. Thanks melissa!

I saw this recipe on mellisa's show and thought it would be a yummy and easy meal to make. I read the reviews and made a test marinade and added garlic, sesame oil, and a dash of ginger to it and tasted it. It was really bitter. I was thinking i could add honey or brown sugar to counteract the bitterness. So I ended up adding a couple tablespoons of honey. It was good but I must not have blotted down the chicken enough, because it was kinda gooey. But, my family liked it do that's what matters.

I loved this recipe! I have made many chinese chicken recipes and was happy to find one that was not fried. I did not measure anything when making this recipe but just "eye balled" it. I did make extra marinade to use as a sauce when the chicken was done cooking. I just heated the extra sauce on the stove and thickened with a little cornstarch. I did add a few extras to the marinade - grated fresh ginger, hoisin sauce and thai sweet chili sauce. I will use this recipe from now on instead of the fried ones that I used before. This tasted great and was very easy to make!
