Family and co workers love the recipe. Added Italian sausage to mine. It was great.

I made this last year and at the time there were many fewer reviews. I cannot believe how many good ratings this got! I thought it was so bland, even with the addition of more seasonings. I only used half of the potato mix and it was still far too much. A friend of mine actually we made it last year too, and we still joke today about how awful both of them turned out. Skip it.

This was great. Took a while to make, but well worth it. The kids even liked it.

Shepherd's pie, cottage pie. What's the diff. Get over it. I needed a recipe to get rid of my St. Paddy's Day corned beef. Was excellent. Husband rates food: edible (good, good (very good. This was really good (need own TV show. Picky teenager liked it as did father-in-law. Thanks Melissa. Sometimes inventions are the best; that's the fun of it.

I made this for a potluck on St. Patrick's day and it was a hit. It needed more seasoning as I was cooking it, so I added oregano and paprika.

Wonderful! Have made this twice. The first time, I left all of the bacon fat in the pot as directed but it was too much. The second time I drained all of the bacon fat before adding the veg to the pot. Much better...less fatty and salty. Love it!

I made this last week and it was the best I have ever had. It was full of flavor and pretty easy to prepare. My daughter just called and she said she was going to make Shepard's pie for dinner and I told her to use this recipe. Once again this recipe rocked.

I made this last week and it was delicious. The flavors meld together so well in that rich sauce that forms. So good! Give it a try :
