My family liked this, but i think my family likes simple steamed broccoli florets just as well. I am new to cooking and have not quite figured out the trimming of the woody stem. I'll keep trying!

This was a quick, easy way to serve Broccoli. My family enjoyed it and I liked the way the broccoli tasted. I would recommend trying this recipe.

I have been cooking for a long time and never found a broccoli recipe with such excelent results like Melissas. I'm from a country where most of greens are always sauteed in garlic-infused oil, what works fine for leafy greens, but not broccoli and the like, always some part of the floret get limp or almost raw. Melissas technique prevents both, its brilliant!

Such a simple & fast way to cook broccoli with a huge tasty result. Cutting the broccoli into trees makes a nice presentation on the plate and who knew that the "trunks" were that delicious!
