Sorry, neither the chicken or the sauce had any flavor. Was excited to use up several tomatoes that needed it, but ended up throwing the sauce out too.

We enjoyed chicken prepared this way with the roasted tomatoes and onions blended in the food processor with the garlic. Good dish!

After reading some of the other comments I was worry about this not being flavorful at all. Key word - SIMPLY grilled. I made it on the grill and it was moist, tender, and FULL of SIMPLE flavors. This will definitely be a go to recipe in my book. THANKS Melissa!

I used chicken tenders and I didn't pound it, but I put the garlic and oil in a ziploc back and added the chicken and let it marinate for 30 or 40 minutes while my kids and I played outside... when I came back in I popped them on my grill pan, placed the lid on and they cooked great and were very tasty... maybe I'll try the sauces next time...

I loved the chicken and dipping sauces. You are so creative and I appreciate your tips.
I also believe that the recipes are definitely doable when you are a smart shopper, use coupons, and pay attention to sales.

Grilled chicken like this is almost always dry and tasteless. The sauce though is excellent with very bright, fresh flavor. I have used it on breaded and pan-fried fish, chicken and pork. I'm not usually a fan of this show because the premise is such a farce. Dinner for $10.00????? She must shop for groceries on the same planet that Rachel Ray times her 30 Minute Meals.

Made recipe and soaked Garlic in oil about 12 hours. Used a Stove Top Grill as in episode. Well Chicken stuck. Yes it got char marks but unfortunately they stuck to the grill and were not on the chicken. Also chicken was not flavorful as expected. Since they were not flavorful enough for me, I ended letting get to room temp, cut them into pieces and added the chicken to a mixed salad with balsamic dressing. At least the chicken wasn't dried out. Disappointed. I am just glad I didn't have company over that night.

These came out so juicy! I was very pleased. Finally I don't have to cover up the bland dryness of my cheapest ingredient! Even after slicing the leftovers they stayed juicy for days!
To those elitist snobs who insist on putting Melssa down in every comment, I'm sorry, I didn't realize the food network belonged to "real" chefs. We moms pay the cable bill too. Sorry your parents didn't love you. Do we really have to suffer with your unlivable self?

I was mentally prepared for the grilled the chicken breast to be dried out since it was skinless, but the even thickness (great tip and infused oil helped it come out moist and perfectly cooked. The tomato and onion dipping sauce smelled awesome and is an absolutely brilliant way to add flavor to chicken breast. Separating the tender from the breast (another great tip was good for the kiddos.

I made mashed potatoes with it and was a great match with the tomatoes.

The way Melissa described the celery root sounds yummy, so I may have to try growing it myself in the garden since I can't find it in the stores...???
