I never had fennel before and I now love it. Very easy, simple and a lot of flavor. I had it with Jasmine rice.

Quick, simple preparation for fancy meal payoff.

I was a bit leery to tell you I used walleye, but I see practically every other reviewer also used a fish other than snapper...which shows the recipe is versatile enough for you to use on whatever is fresh at your market that day!

OUTSTANDING! This fish was better than most I have eaten in five star restaurants. It literally melted in my mouth! I have always been intimidated to cook fish at home, but making this in a saute pan is a breeze! My market did not have snapper so I substituted cod and it was wonderful. This is going in the "good enough for company" file!

I converted this to Weight Watchers points and, as is, it is 9 points per serving ... if you leave off the butter it is 7 points. A delicious and healthy option!

AMAZING...this is restaurant quality...I had to use tilapia and it still was terriffic!! However, the sauce was just enough for 2 people...I'd double it if serving more...could definitely serve this to company. Even the small amount of leftovers were great. And, since discovering Melissa, I use herbs de provence in many dishes and love it!

I prepared this for myself and my husband after seeing Melissa prepare it on her show this weekend. I had tilapia on hand so I used it rather than snapper. This is a wonderful combination of flavors. Not sure that I've ever cooked with the bulb of the fennel but was excited to try something new. We loved it. I will definitely prepare it again and again. I noticed that another reviewer served it over brown rice. Will try that next time too. Thanks Melissa!
