I what universe do you live in Melissa d'Arabian that this recipe takes 20 minutes??? It was a lot of work for a salad. It was tasty but SO NOT worth the work!...will not be making it again.

This salad was amazing! the only thing I would do different is to use only the green part of the green onions, as the white part was a little too strong for our taste.

Very good salad! I love Melissa's show and book. I think the dressing was too much for 1 bag of lettuce it was over dressed. I used spring mix. Everyone loved it. I used canned oranges drained and regular orange juice since I was out of the fruit. Would be good with feta on it too.

This was absolutly delicious! Had it with a small pizza and it was a perfect dinner. The green onions were great with the sweet oranges.

I made this for a special Christmas Eve dinner and it got rave reviews (even from non-spinach lovers and I am making it again tonight. It is a nice change from ordinary salads.

I made the pecans ahead of time. They were tasty, but when I added them to the salad, even better.

I'm finding every one of Melissa's recipes to be sure-fire winners & this one definitely is! I just used pre-washed mixed greens for this...with sliced red onions and left out the orange segments.

The pecans were ready in no time and tasted fabulous...paired well with the citrus dressing. Sometimes I find the taste of dijon mustard to be overwhelming in a salad dressing...so, this time I used a store-brand honey mustard...it tasted very mellow with this in it.

I second the motion for a cookbook by Melissa...I also find her charming and very real. I predict that now that she lives in Seattle, her culinary education will really take off...so many ingredients to explore and regional favorites on which she can apply her unique twists...FN really picked a star when they chose Melissa.

Made this for the first time on Christmas Day and it was a success. I got lots of rave reviews from my extended family. It seemed to be festive as well as tasting delicious. Melissa is my favorite by far on all of Food Network. I'm waiting (not so patiently for a Ten Dollar Dinner cookbook!!!!
