The best cheese steak sanwich I have ever tasted. My wife is bragging to her friends about the sandwich. Very easy to make.

This was quick and easy for a week night meal. My husband loved them and the oven fries! We will definitely be making this again! Maybe a little less oregano next time!

This was really good; I would omit the oregano next time, not a taste I liked too much. May sub with fresh thyme or just leave plain. I also will use swiss cheese rather than Provolone, just my preference, I guess. My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe and will definitely make again.

My husband is from Philadelphia and he raved about how delicious these sandwiches were. Yum, Yum!

My husband gives this recipe "an easy 5 stars." A great and easy to make meal. I did omit the American cheese (not a fan and used a little cheddar instead. We made some sandwiches with Provolone and some with Mozzarella--both very tasty. I used a pound of sirloin and a large onion; plenty to go around. Will make this meal again soon.

Soooo tasty, we all loved it including my husband who rarely raves about a meal. We have eaten at Gino's in Philly so had something to compare it to..mmmm. The one thing I was worried about was the tenderness of the meat, not an issue here. The trick is cutting it very thin and cooking it fast-I did not take my eye off the pan-as soon as the pink was gone I took it off the heat. It was wonderful and the whole mixture was great. My daughter who doesn't like mushrooms didn't even notice. I did cut them on the thin side to incorporate them better but am looking forward to the time I make them again.

This was absolutely fantastic! I even made it with venison since my freezer is packed with it! My husband said I can make this every week.

This was wonderful! To stretch a little further I add a few more peppers. Green, Yellow Orange and Bannana pepper. I used swiss cheese to add a zing and it was fantastic.
