I agree with other reviewers that the meat mixture needed a little something extra; I added some oyster sauce and thought it provided just what was missing. The drizzle sauce, on the other hand, is so delicious! I served this dinner to my family of 5, and even my picky 3-year-old ate THREE lettuce wraps (after he was already gagging at the unknown brown mixture sitting atop a leaf on his plate! Loved that grownups could add the spicy sauce for a little more flavor. What a healthy meal. I couldn't believe it when I counted up the calories in our pretty generous servings of truly delicious food. Felt like I was eating in a restaurant, except cheaper and healthier! So proud that my entire family shared this meal together! Thanks, Melissa. You inspire me.

I thought this was great. My only question is the drizzle sauce came through the lettuce and made it messy. Not something I would serve to guests only because I don't like messy. I also made the ginger lemon zest cookies. They were a hit as well.

A-ok. I'm a big fan of Melissas and although these were good, they weren't great. As someone else mentioned, the meat, water chestnut, mushrooms, with the sauce didn't taste like much. Once you put it all together and add the drizzling sauce - that's where the flavor comes in. It's certainly a healthy recipe so an A+ for that. Not every recipe can get be a 5 star, so definitely try this recipe if you want to eat on the lighter side.

These wraps were wonderful! I used chicken breast which I ground in my food processor(I didn't have ground turkey. We don't care for spicy hot foods, so I omitted the Sriracha sauce from the drizzling sauce recipe. I don't think any flavor was lost. I also made the COLD RICE SALAD from this episode...YUM!!! The perfect combination!

SO yummy! I absolutely loved these lettuce wraps! The dipping sauce was perfect. I did add a bit of grated ginger to the mix, but other than that I followed the recipe. I will be making these again and again!!!!

Saw this on the show and it looked easy and yummy so gave it a try. Followed the recipe exactly, except didn't add the mushrooms, I am a fan, but unfortunately family is not. Got raving reviews from my husband and the kids. The sauce was a must for my husband and I but the kids thought it was fine without, but we like it spicy and I think it would have been a little bland without the sauce. Highly recommend trying this recipe.

these were very easy and really good. I actually used a bunch of other veggies, celery, pepper, carrot and instead of using brown sugar used truvia. I also did not make the drizzle sauce, I'm sure it would have been great, but I didn't have time. So I just put some sesame oil and fresh ginger in with the soy sauce. The chopped cilantro is a must. Also, you could probably skip the oil to cook the turkey--at least with the turkey I used I don't think it was neccessary. Very good, will make again and again!
