So easy to make and the family loved it, will be making this again. Its also fun to watch it puff up in the oven.

This was my first attempt of "cooking along" with any food network show. And though I did need to pause the screen a couple of times, this was a simple, on hand, quick and delicious recipe! Thanks Melissa, for what's sure to become a weekend staple in MY home as well. (I did substitute strawberries for the blueberries, but I bet any berry would be just as good.

I don't like pancakes because they are too sweet and when you add topping the sweetness goes overboard. Ducth baby is perfect, not sweet at all, the sweetness is controlled by you.

What a fun way to serve up a pancake whether it be for breakfast or dinner. There used to be a restaurant in our area called The Pannekoeken and the servers would dash through the restaurant with these huge puff pancakes to get it on the table so you could watch it slowly deflate.
    Love your show!

This is similar to my German Pancake. The trick to really, puffy result is the air bubbles created prior to pouring into hot pan. Mine is just 1/4 c butter in hot iron skillet in 425 degree oven. whip 3/4 c flour, 3/4 c milk and 3 eggs (NO SUGAR. Pour into melted butter and bake approx 25 min. Serve w/powdered sugar and fresh lemon juice. Yummy also if you add fresh chopped pears & apples - just sprinkle over batter before baking.

The perfect Dutch Baby recipe! It is simple, fast, and delicious. After trying some really terrible Dutch Baby recipes, I finally found this recipe and it is perfect! Light, fluffy, not greasy, with just a hint of sweetness. I enjoy making this for breakfast on the weekend.

What am I doing wrong/ Have tried to make this. It comes out flat, like play dough in the middle. Tastes OK but just does not bake up right for me. Have used my iron Tagine bottom to make it in. Is this a problem?
