At first I was really hesitant about eating kale raw, but mixed with all of these other strong ingredients, it made a really good balance. Will definitely make it again!

Loved the option of a winter salad. The texture of kale is nothing like I have ever had before and it was very enjoyable!

Mostly just plain blah. I've never eaten kale before, so, who knows, maybe what I bought wasn't fresh. I don't plan to make it again.

I made this recipe just as stated EXCEPT I used an Asian Pear instead of a regular pear (my regular pear went south on me and added just a touch of Dijon mustard to the oil and vinegar which I blended using my stick blender. Even my husband, who in the past was hesitant about greens, raved about this and had TWO helpings! It sure helped me that we have a Farmer's Market nearby so I knew the kale was fresh. Was excellent the next day as well. Thanks Melissa!

Wonderful, easy, and DELICIOUS! I make this salad all the time. I've used walnuts instead of pecans (was out of pecans and it still tasted really good. Love this recipe!!!

Never thought of using it as a salad. Have some in my fridge right now and I am going to try it tonight. Not all vegies are created equal. I always taste my kale and lettuce before using. Some are not as good as others. That goes for fruits, berries, potatoes etc., Taste first before you use, this can ruin a good receipe. I was running out of ways to cook it now will eat it fresh. Thanks Melissa, Love you just they way you are. Be You!

My wife and I tried this salad recently and since neither have had kale we knew it would be very interesting. The salad was easy to make and just perfect....we will no doubt do it again.....thanks for the idea
