I was a little afraid to try this because foodnetwork had not tried it. OH BOY WAS IS WRONG. This quiche is so different in a good way. So flavourful and easy to make. I bought a jar of sliced jalapenos and added them into the recipe. You decide how many. PERFECT!!!!

The recipe was a success, I did not have ant salsa on hand but I did improvise with homemade relish from my pantry, it did work. I will be trying different variations of this recipe, using a spicy sausage instead of ground beef, etc. It is a hit in my kitchen.

I love to cook and this was simple and figured it had a simple taste. But I didn't expect for it to taste this good! I used mild rotel instead of salsa and it worked out perfect! This will be a staple in the house from now on. Thanks peeps for a great one!

This was more of a meat pie than a quiche, nothing eggy about it. It was delicious, but way too heavy. I would make it with 4 eggs like most quiches, and 1/2 lb of beef. The seasonings, etc. I would keep the same---throw in a cup of corn and green pepper too. I also used hot salsa, which just added flavor, not heat, to the pie. I think milder salsa would equal a bland pie.
    Thanks for the great start!

My husband is one of the pickest eaters around. Not about the kind of food but how it's cooked. THat's the reason he cooks more than I do. I was very uneasy wondering if he would like htis & he really did. It was wonderful! Definitely will make again. I thnk next time I will try substituting the ground beef with diced or shredded chicken. Even my very picky 2 yr old polished hers off. 4 thumbs very high up!!!

Quick and easy. I substituted egg beaters for the eggs and it came out great!
