I love fries! These worked, and I felt good about eating them baked, not fried.

Yummy! I will never buy frozen french fries again! I do this with sweet potatoes too.

This recipe is very easy and delicious. I just have to watch the cooking time next time because some of the smaller potatoes came out too crispy for my taste.

Even my hubby, who hates fries, loved these and asked for them again. What I like best is I can control the amount of salt.

My family loves these fries! We have even used Paula Deen's House seasoning to add a little zip!

The recipe is vague. I've seen this type of recipe before, so I understand the basic, but it doesn't even say how long to leave it in the water bath (1 minute or 30 minutes.

i admit, it could have been because i tried to make MORE french fries than the recipe was designed for... the fries just seemed a little bland to me. the guys loved it. i would suggest broiling for extra crispiness.

and watch out when you open the oven to flip the fries - the billowing steam at 450 degrees nearly singed all my facial hair off! :
