You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (6 tablespoons) pear liqueur (recommended: Poire William)
  • 1 bottle Champagne or sparkling wine (750ml), chilled
  • 1 ripe pear, cored, cut into thin slices

Directions

Pour 1 tablespoon of pear liqueur in each of 6 glasses. Top each glass with Champagne.

Garnish with a pear slice or drop the pear slice gently into the glass.

    It was a great recipe...what the other member posted about no white wine recipe...perform some of your own tests and sub with white wine. keep trying till you get it...Keep in mind as chefs we will test a recipes several times to get it just right :...In the end it all comes from your Imagination no matter what the recipe is.

    I am also disappointed that the homemade recipe Michael mentioned with white wine, etc. is not here.

    Michael commented that he made the liqueur for this drink from pears cooked with sugar and I believe some spice, adding vodka and dessert or sweet wine. I had hoped to see the recipe for that included, as I have made simple raspberry liqueur at home, which turned out very well, and was nice to mix in a similar way. I think it would add a stronger pear flavor, too.
