    I made this in my little apartment kitchen, and it turned out beautifully. There were some time and equipment issues, but barring those it was a great surprise for my boyfriend. It left lots of leftovers, too! a total plus when money is tight. I'll definitely make this again!

    Made this for a Valentine's Day dinner with the family, and it actually received high marks from my husband AND daughter (who loves lemons which does NOT happen often. Only 4 stars b/c of the time and prep factor (to roast the lemons, prep the garlic and the herbs, etc..but came out great. Did not use all the lemon juice - would agree you can probably get away with using only 3 lemons. Definitely more of a weekend meal than a quick weekday dinner.

    I made this for family and friends and it turned out wonderfully. I did cut the lemons from 5 to 3 and still added butter to the final sauce to tame it a little. Also, it took about a half hour to cook the chicken to temp and the potatoes to the desired tenderness (as opposed to the 10-15 minutes in the recipe. Having said all that, everyone loved the meal. High yum factor!

    I have tried some real yummy recipes, but when it comes to chicken this is getting harder to do. I have tried alot of recipes and this one is one of the easiest and tastiest to date. The recipe itself looks moderately hard to make, its definately not a 30 min throw together, with lots of prep and moving the ingredients around (pan to pan and so on, while cooking this recipe can make the novice cook a little uneasy. But, if you follow the directions closely and read through the steps first you will find yourself enjoying this incredibaly tasy dish in no time. Enjoy!

    This was good but way too lemony. One or two lemons would have been plenty. It is a keeper but way less lemons.

    My boyfriend and I made this together, and its now our favorite thing to make. The roasted lemon just ties everything together so well..

    I thought the taste was good but it seemed like an awful lot of work for what you get. I thought the sauce would be better if it was thicker. Definetly not a week night dinner if you work. Maybe good for a special occasion.

    This recipe is great, but for my taste it was a little sour so I added another cup of stock to mellow out the lemon as well as a couple of Tbsp of ketchup...it was perfect.
