In Sydney Australia, Arnotts Biscuits Company make a FABULOUS biscuit called KINGSTONS ( nothing to do with Jamaica & it looks similar to Michaels cookie. The only difference being that is has the flavour of coconut in the cookie I am going to try this recipe with 1/3 cup of dessicated coconut (Dessicated Coconut is not as sweet as flaked but finely cut So I will hopefully update my review with great results

I haven't yet stuffed these cookies yet - but so far they seem good. However, I believe that the 1/2 tsp. measurement for the cookie size is in error. It would produce significantly more than the 30 sandwiches that are expected. I think 1 tsp or a 1/2 Tbsp. is more accurate.

These cookies were very easy to prepare and simply delicious! Family members volunteered to get me more ingredients if I would make another batch, because the cookies vanished quickly! Thanks Mike! This cookie has made my top 10 list!!

These were relatively easy to make and they came out wonderfully. I will definitely make again.

I followed the recipe, all the ingredients, the hazelnuts I cracked straight out of the shells and roasted them to get the skin off, but something wasn't right. The dough was too dry. The first batch I baked remained basically in the ball and didnt go flat at all.
The flavor was very good, but maybe I was missing the point of the cookies, they looked very close to a macaroon. I would be willing to try them again if I knew what or where I went wrong.
