Directions
1 package (6-inch) wooden skewers
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon oil
- 2 cups each fruit of your choice, cut into 3/4-inch chunks (apples, banana, pears, pineapple
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 to 60 minutes. Dry them off with a towel.
Prepare a grill or broiler.
Lay out skewers on a plate and brush with cinnamon oil. Skewer a few pieces of fruit onto each skewer. Grill or broil fruit skewers for 30 seconds on each side.
Cook's Note: The skewers look great when served in a pineapple. Just lay a pineapple down on its side and stick the pointed end of the skewer into the top.

From what I remember sonja, he put about 2 tbs of cinnamon in oil and let it infuse. Then he brushed the sticks before he skewered the fruit. I tried it and thought it brought a certain spicy flavor to the pineapple and sweet flavor to the apples. It was Wonderful!
