    the best choppino but added rosutto and put choppino on top the best

    I would recommend to anyone. I usually like a more tomato based cioppino, but this hit the mark. I also thought the Pernod and fennel would over power, but it melded well and only made it better...

    Strongly recommend this recipe.
    we especially enjoyed the roasted garlic buttered bread, which we finished off in the oven and dipped in broth. Used Clamato in place of fumet - was very tasty. What is "pernod" (1/2 c. on list of ingredients?
