To make this drink even better, I rimmed the glasses with an orange zest infused sugar...it was a hit!!

This is wonderful, fresh, and a great gift. I used the recipe from the website and it was great. I am on my third batch!

The color is gorgeous in the bottle. It tastes great by itself. Very smooth. Not sure if I want to serve it with tonic water, as I do not like it. Any suggestions?

I just made this yesterday, so it's not ready for bottling yet. I took another reviewers advice and increased all ingredients- seems to have worked well, the evolving color is a nice vibrant ruby- cant wait to taste.

I plan on giving small decorative bottles of the cranberry-orange vodka along with tonic water and a lime as holiday gifts. The vodka tastes great and the color is a beautiful red.
I used 2 - 12 oz bags of fresh cranberries and increased the sugar from 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups. I kept the amount of oranges and vanilla the same as the recipe. I used a combination of regular vodka and vanilla vodka - just to use up the opened bottles. I saved the vodka soaked cranberries, too!
    Thanks for the great recipe!

Cran delicious Vodka & Cranberry Sauce

Easy, Tasty, Beautiful presentation and packs a punch at the Christmas Holiday Party.
After draining the Vodka from the cranberries & orange rinds I decided to make a cranberry sauce.
Removing the orange rinds I took the cranberries added ? cup sugar and a cup of water and put them back on the stove.
I cooked them till the rest of the cranberries popped. Then I let them cool. I served them up for our annual Christmas party.
WOW, they added a nice punch to the party. Everyone loved the Vodka and the Vodka Cranberry sauce. Never did I think I could
Catch a buzz from cranberry sauce. Enjoy
