As Michael says, this spice rub is very versatile and gives things a unique flavor.
I've used it on steaks, seafood, and pork. It takes on unique flavors when grilled.
I've also made a batch and added 2-3 T of cumin seed. Adds a smokiness that I like on grilled meats on the BBQ.

The spiced prawns were a huge hit at my wine tasting party. i put them over a bed of mixed green and the dressing for the citrus salad was on the side. absolutly wonderful!!
