I was skeptical about the grapes and lemon juice, but it turned out really yummy and my family really liked it.

I don't drink milk, grape juice or eat strawberries... a heck of a way to conquer that! Made for a family friend and her kids, save a little for myself. I followed the recipe, except used canned pineapple and frozen strawberries (which Giada says is just fine!. Blended in a super duper food processer as I don't have a blender. I will keep ingredients on hand!

The flavor combination was great! Instead of using ice to make it cold, I froze fresh strawberries because the ice would just water down the drink. Looked great too. It was a tasty, pretty drink.

I know smoothies aren't that complicated, but whenever I just "throw" fruits and juices in the blender, it turns out terrible. This really is a great mix of flavors. Very refreshing on a summer day!
