    This is a very simple salad to prepare is offers a nice variation from all the salads you see over and over. very important to use red onions for flavor and to grill the avocados nicely.

    ...plz try this recipe...out of this world!!! I threw the pine nutz inside the blender along wif the pesto and topped it all with pastachios.

    So happy with this different way to serve up an avocado. I enjoyed all the flavors this recipe puts together. Very tasty and I'm glad to add another appetizer/salad recipe to my recipe box. Thanks Michael and Food TV!

    Excellent variation to a traditional salad. I added a lot less oil than suggested and it turned out great. My husband liked the crunchiness of the red onions with the soft avocados and the acidity of the tomatoes.The pesto was the icing on the cake.Good combination,overall.

    This recipe is a combination of many of my favorite things, but it ended up being a little too much of a good thing. There is too much oil between the EVOO and pesto and avocado, and I'm not convinced the pesto added anything to the taste. Next time I'll grill the avocado, add the onion etc and tomatos, and sprinkle some parsley on top...just hate to smother all those flavors!

    I love! avacadoes and to taste a new and totally different receipe for this wonderful taste was really a treat. Be sure and watch the time you're BBQing them so they don't fall apart.
