I made this meatloaf for my family last night, and it was fantastic. Michael, you're never a disappointment!

My husband said "best I ever made" the first time I prepared this meatloaf (a year ago and he has enjoyed it every time I've made it since then. Also, it is a big hit at church potlucks. It is so pleasantly different and tasty from most other meatloaf recipes I have tried. Not too "Italian" tasting as one might suspect.

This recipe indicates it makes four servings. Three pounds of meat would be about 12 servings. Follow the recipe as written.

I do not like meatloaf usually, but I have a hubbby that does. I found this recipe to be easy and was so good that I ate it and enjoyed it! This is going on the family menu selections!

I like this recipe but was thrown off by the typo on the meat proportions too. I find it more and more diappointing when I read reviews from folks that must correct the ingredient amounts because there are typos in the written recipe. One pound of meat vs. THREE pounds on the show - that is a BIG difference. Your viewers are being forced to make dishes twice or throw away the finished product due to typos in many of your recipes.. See Mario Batali's polenta and many others have obvious typos. Thank goodness for kind reviews which warn of these pitfalls. Don't mean to preach but come on - this is basic stuff. Get it right already.

Very easy, and tastes quite rich and flavorful. A bit fatty, depending on the ground beef used. Next time I'll try using some portion of ground turkey.
