I really liked this recipe. And, adding the marinara to the top definetly makes it more moist.
I think that this recipe would make great meatballs as well. Just roll them and bake them for about 20 minutes.

This is the best meatloaf EVER! I made a few changes... try a mix of beef/pork/veal for an ultra tender consistency. I also added 1/4 cup of chopped sun dried tomatoes which were amazing. Thanks Michael!

The meatloaf was very good, but I found that lacked a little with the herbs. This could have been do to the fact I used 2lbs of meat and double the recipe. I will make this again with a few adjustments, and will leave more commnents on how it turns out.

I am not a meatloaf fan but when I saw this recipe I thought I would make it for my parents and I really liked it, they did also. I would not recommend baking in in a meatloaf pan because it took forever. I also made it and put it in muffin tins for individual meatloafs and it was great.

I will never eat plain meatloaf again. From all the garlic and italian ingredients used, to topping it off with a great marinara.... this meatloaf is killer. I added fresh mozzerella at the end of the cooking time, and my family loved it. It is great for a hearty meal and would be wonderful for entertaining.

I like this meatloaf recipe. It was something different from what mom would all ways make. I feed the whole family with this one and every bit of the meatloaf was gone
