    The lasagna was tasty, but not so tasty that it was worth all the effort it took to make it. This recipe took A LOT of preparation and a long time to make - I wouldn't make it again.

    We made it as suggested on the show using Pumpkin instead of the Butternut Squash, and it was darn tasty. Plus, then we had pumpkin seeds to toast.

    The Butternut flavor was lost to the ricotta cheese. Giada on "Everyday Italian" has a much simpler, better tasting butternut squash lasagna recipe that my family prefers and request often.
