    Outstanding use of 'leftovers'! Chef Michael has such a creative turn of mind. You almost have to bake an extra pie or two just to make and enjoy this fantastic treat! Other kinds of pies should adept this well too. I'm going to have to try & discover the other varieties. Thank you, Chef Chiarello.

    crap! ran out of propane for my mini torch can i just use blow torch or should I place them by a bonfire and hope it crusts over. what do?

    I have to admit, I bought and baked a pumplin pie just so I could make this recipe. I wanted something totally different to WOW everyone and I got it. Elegant without a lot of work, thank you!!!
