It was so easy and so good. And I love the ideal of the water, it's like steaming them. Idon't like them real brown.

Meatballs average; sauce is good. Both my MB & sauce is superior.
Browning & poaching MB are both 'traditional' - it depends on
the recipe, region of Italy & the cook! I still love U Michael!

Most of us Italianos like our own cooking better than anyone else's. I make pretty good meatballs, but these ones are superior by leaps and bounds. The steaming works great and I've had no problems with the recipe. Everyone raves about them.

I made these and they are great, I think what even makes them better is I steam them in a pan instead of fry and they are so moist.....

I am 30 years old and I hope that Food Network won't sue me for telling my future grandkids that this is an old family recipe.
The sauce is EXCELLENT! I always replace the rosemary with oregano and remove the pork before serving.
This is the 1st time steaming meatballs and they are great, though I do use less bread crumbs. -- Michael rulz!

Different than traditional meatballs in that they don't have the browned outer surface, but very good tasting. I had a problem with them sticking to the bottom of pan, so check on them while steaming.

The meatballs were too soft (way too much bread crumbs!. Also the flavor was not very good.
The sauce was also nothing special.
