The cooking method and flavors generated were phenominal!

I replaced the ketchup with "Open Pit" bbq sauce and added the honey and garlic. The rest I left in tact. The meat fell off of the bone as advertised and tasted great.

this is the method for cooking ribs!! it makes for completely moist, fall-off-the-bone ribs you've ever had! BBQ sauce is good, but the ribs - sublime.

I've been on a quest to find the perfect rib recipe and I've finally found it!! OMG, these are out of this world! My husband and I ate a full slab a piece and were still wanting more. And we're not big people or big eaters! I was a little sceptical after reading the ingredients for the sauce but was intrigued by the addition of espresso. It was the easiest bbq sauce i've ever made, and by far the best!! WOW is all i can say. The rib meat just falls right off the bone. Be sure to pre-bake the ribs at least 2-1/2 hours. I added some Cayenne pepper to one of the slabs prior to baking for some extra heat. They were awesome too, but I seriously wouldn't change a thing. They're GREAT just as they are! Ok, I'll stop gushing now. Just TRY them. You'll be so glad you did. Oh, and get ready for rave reviews! Thanks Michael..you're my hero!

This was the best baby back rib receipe ever. I have made it four times in the last 2 months. However, since I don't make three racks of ribs often, I just cover the rack with tin foil while cooking them in the oven. The sauce also freezes well.

The expresso gives them a sweet but slightly dark flavor. A good alternative to the typically supersweet bbq sauce texas-style. You will have to be patient though because it will still take more than 2 hours to get them in your mouth. Worth the wait!

This sauce is terrific. It's homemade and easy to make. I have even passed this off to my friends and their feedback is it is wonderful.

I saw this episode and was curious about the coffee in the bar-b-que sauce. It really adds a nice smokey flavor. Yum.
