These are the perfect meal replacement bar! I wrap them individually as suggested and they're good to "grab and go" throughout our busy week. I use honey for molasses, and almond extract for vanilla to play off the sliced alomonds. I don't chop up the oats or almonds for added texture. We like them less crumbly and more moist so 25 instead of 30 minutes in the oven. Once I was out of apricots so I used craisins and it was just as great! I love knowing exactly what's in the food I eat and feed others so I'm proud to use of this recipe.

These bars are excellent. They are loved by the kids (14,6 & 1 and parents alike in our family. It's just nice knowing EXACTLY what goes into them. No junk! I had whole roasted almonds on hand, so I just used those. Thanks for such a great recipe! I will definitly keep these on hand VS store bought from now on.

I made these this morning but didn't have all of the ingredients listed. I substituted honey for molasses and whole wheat pastry flour for AP. I didn't have dry milk so I left it out. They turned out quite well except next time I will add a little cinnamon for warmth and more than a pinch of salt (1 tea; it needed more flavor. Very good breakfast!

very good. Will make again. The only trouble I ran into was the bars crumbling when I went to cut them.

Loved the recipe. Don't like mollasses. I switched it up and added honey instead and they are yummy....I also made the whole thing in the food processor. Just put all dry ingredients in and streamed in the wet (egg-honey-milk-vanilla. Ran for a few seconds and voila...done.

they weren't what I was expecting texture wise, but they taste great. They're sweet enough to make you think that you're having a treat, but actualy good for you!

these are a little messy to make, but very much worth the effort. I have not found another recipe better than this for a breakfast bar or workout bar. They taste much better than the store bought bars.

Lots of ingredients but worth it! I love them - not too sweet - and excellent for you! And you can freeze them so you can make a large batch for later.

    Worth the effort!
