These are the very best I have ever had including those at Churchill Downs! Thank you Michael for a real winner!

Favorite summer drink. We make these up by the half gallon and keep them in the freezer. Pull them out and pour and you have a perfect drink for a hot summer afternoon.

Now one; I mean no one can touch your recipe, Michael. It's easy and it has become a wonderful holiday tradition in my home. My daughter and I developed a non-alcoholic version for the children. Thank you for the recipe.

What else is there to say. The mint simple syrup would be terrific in iced tea as well.

I was liberal in making my simple syrup and made the drink about 70% bourbon.....delicious. We brought the bottle to a party and it was gone in minutes. I suggest a little splash of water for the bourbon novices.....

Every year on "Derby Day", we attempt yet another version of the famed Mint Julep; and every year the first one is horrible, we try and make some "adjustments" to the second one, and by the third one... who cares?? This year was different. This is the easiest, and best recipe we have ever tried. From the first sip, to the last... just yummy!

This is an amazingly easy recipe. I've served this drink frequently in the past couple of months and everyone wants the recipe -- even the non-bourbon drinkers!
