I agree with the other reviewers- the prep time takes a lot longer than 10 minutes but it's worth it. This dish was quite impressive and great for a dinner party since you can prep and clean ahead and just throw into the oven when guests arrive. It was good comfort food but a little bland but that may be because I used Parmesian rather than Pecorino-- I will try the Pecorino next time and bump up the garlic.

Fantastic recipe using eggplant & herbs fresh from my garden. Delicious & easy. I substituted fontina cheese & was very pleased.

This wasn't our favorite recipe. It all turned out a little too "sweet" for us.

My husband and I were watching food network and had to record this episode because the dish sounded and looked so good. When I made it, we were both very happy we tried it. It was absolutely delicious and this will be a dish we will entertain with. My only change I would make would be to cut back on the basil. I will use less next time because my husband and I find the taste a little overpowering - especially using that much.

Are you supposed to eat the skin of the eggplant in this recipe? I've never had eggplant before and wasn't sure. Thanks.

I rarely cook because I usually spend the entire time stressing about the recipe and the dishes timing and the jargon and well, everything to do with cooking. Anyway, I caught this recipe being performed and thought I'd give it a try.... WOW! Simple and spectacular are really the only ways to describe it. I shop organic as much as possible and even considering the additional cost it only cost me about $12 ( the only things I already had were eggs, olive oil, and bread crumbs. Now as a beginner at cooking I must say my timing is especially horrible, but everything times itself out, as long as you chop up the veggies ahead of time. This dish is flavorful, unique and great when you don't have a ton of time to prep.

This recipe is excellent. My entire family - picky eaters included loved it. The stuffing also makes an excellent pizza topping with some mozarella cheese.
